Artist's Statement

I often refer to myself as a Conduit of the Absurd. Since I was a tiny, dramatic, child I have had the need to share the strange and marvelous world whose events I witness on a daily basis.
I paint pictures, combining mythology, distortion, anthropomorphism, and sometimes fetish objects. I am interested in existential and Global themes, especially isolation and social disconnect.
My hope is that I can create work that will make people remember the world of their childhoods, and their connection to the cosmos. While making them smile at the absurdity of it all.
